- From US$236.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 450 reviewsAmazing location, right in front of a perfect, almost private beach. You don’t need to leave the hotel for anything, unless you want to visit other beaches, but we stayed most of the trip there. Very friendly staff, always smiling and welcoming! The food is delicious and for a fair price, we tried almost every meal in the menu. There are snorkel equipment and kayaks available for free use. There’s nothing very special about the room, but the view is breathtaking. This hotel was highly recommended by our friends and we do recommend it to everyone.Guest review byGastonSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 482 reviewsFriendly, relaxed vibe in a fabulous location. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you could need. The night markets and a small 24/7 store are close by. Great coffee and tapas place across the road. We loved hearing the music from koka lagoon tours right next door as they were welcoming guests to their tour. We also loved the free use of paddle boards and kayaks provided by the resort. There were turtles in the lagoon right out front. We can't wait to come back!Guest review byRimmer ZoeCook Islands

The island seems to be recovering from the Covid lockdown.
The island seems to be recovering from the Covid lockdown. There were more tourist businesses than we remember from ten years ago but some great ones have gone. Still a very peaceful place to spend a week and the island never seemed busy even though it was NZ school holidays. Vaima’s is still a great beach restaurant and I had my best meal of the holiday (fish curry) there. Fantastic ika mata everywhere I went, plus great tuna steaks and sashimi. Snorkelling with turtles was a treat and worth doing but do book before you arrive on the island if you can. The Round Rarotonga Road Race was a great event if you’re a runner, as was the cross island “Nutters Run”. Also the Hash House Harriers running group was very friendly. Renting a car from Raro Cars was cheap and made everything easy.Guest review byAndyNew Zealand - 8.0

Beautiful area where you can get to everything simply by driving. Shipwreck hut in Araroa. Aorangi fish / chips. Palace burgers. Rarotonga bakery. Would highly recommend @Tumutours across the road for an authentic cultural experience, combined with delicious food and entertainment.Guest review byTuiNew Zealand - 10.0

Had a great time, I worked when there was no wind and went kite boarding when there was. The beaches there are beautiful with three different locations for kiting and a whole island if your not. for kiting, depending on wind direction, any one of them is an awesome place to kite. If you don't kite and you just want an awesome holiday near a beautiful beach, I couldn't recommend it more. Other islands within the Cook Islands offer great options, but cost more. If budget is an issue, then there is plenty to do on Raro and you will still experience the beauty of the tropical islands.Guest review byJasonAustralia - 10.0
Reflection is a beautiful and relaxing stay.
Reflection is a beautiful and relaxing stay. You have options to cool down from a beautiful private pool or the ocean within a few steps from your doors. Weather was not on my side but that did not stop me from having the best swim ever. I highly recommend this place.Guest review byMrs FataiNew Zealand - 10.0

Rarotonga is so beautiful, and the people are wonderful (well, except for the one grouchy bus driver who is tired of tourists). I appreciate how well the residents care for their island home. It’s a very special place.Guest review byAmandaUnited States - 8.0
This is a good area, it's not to busy with tourist.
This is a good area, it's not to busy with tourist. You might feel your left out from all the fun places. But if you have your own transport or you don't mind using the public transport then your not far from anything at all. Your on the right side of the island for the sunset, go next door and have a drink at the resort bar on the beach while the sun sets in front of you.Guest review byMiro - 10.0

Beautiful beaches, just be mindful not to swim on Saturdays as it is their Sabbath day (head to Nikau beach on that day 😊) Wigmores is a few minutes away, cheap ice cream and donuts, hot meals too. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, the roosters love to serernade the place all day long lolGuest review byStephenAustralia - 10.0

Chilled place to really unwind , get married, pefect for a water sports enthusiast, went fishing on a charter & caught a yellow fin tuna, went diving/snorkeling with turtles and tropical fish, night markets food selection was vast and well priced.Guest review byDouglasIndonesia
