Shiny new, clean, well designed and across the road from the train station. Our room was on the backside and although the place seemed busy in the lobby our room was quiet. We decided to have dinner at DaVinchi. The staff accommodated us and we ate in the common area. The food was great.

    I've stayed here 2x before and came back because it's such a lovely place in a great location - two minutes' walk from the bus station at Chandolin Poste, two minutes from the grocery shop, and with an amazing breakfast and dinner offerings. The rooms (I stayed in the bunk bed option but by myself) are very comfortable, with a great bathroom setup (rain shower!), comfy bed, water, coffee machine and pods, and lift access to the rooms. The staff are truly lovely and let us store our overnight bags before and after our stay while we went to work up on the mountain.

    I had a low cost room, mountain view (5 meters) at maison Blanche. 3 free Hotel pools are ok, not spectacular, but discount for Alpentherme just aside, which has plenty of facilities and offers. Everything a little old. Safe inoperational. Good breakfast, friendly service by foreign employees who do not all speak French or German. Overall very much worth the price !

    A great place to visit. Lots of things to see and do. The Gornergrat train was superb with spectacular views of The Matterhorn. Walked to The Gorner Gorge and then along it. Great walk with fabulous views.

    It's a very cool place.

    It's a very cool place. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay. We took the cable car from the top of the mountain after having walked from the Hotel Schwarenbach. Make sure to bring your Visa card as everything is expensive. That's not a complaint, it's just the reality of a tourist, mountain town. We went to the thermal baths and that was fun. We stayed at the Hotel Waldhaus. Highly recommended as well.

    Ok for skiing and mountain biking but not recommended for hiking (numerous paths closed, very steep, signage could be better, crossing paths with downhill mountain bikers too often). There are better options for hiking in Switzerland

    Brig was truly a hidden gem! We stayed at Hotel Victoria, directly across from the train station - which we loved. The main part of the city was really close and in walking distance. Great shops and resturants and gelato shops. They have a little train that goes around the city and gives you another perspective. It was perfect! There was a historic castle with tour.     Sion is the capital of the Canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland. It's a city rich in history and serves as a gateway to the Alps, with easy access to popular ski resorts like Crans-Montana and Verbier, as well as a wide range of hiking trails. It is also well known for its wine. If you travel around this area, you will see a lot of vineyards. The city is charming, surrounded by mountains with old building still being occupied and nice cafés and restaurants everywhere. I love visiting the French-speaking parts of Switzerland for the delicious French food and pastries.

    Very beautiful area with shops & restaurants within walking...

    Very beautiful area with shops & restaurants within walking distance of the hotel we stayed in (elite). Bus trip up into the mountain villages was excellent & very reasonable priced. Lots of nice restaurants in Visp. Local wines worth a try.

    Amazing location and view, very quiet and clean (no cars allowed in the village). Lots of hiking trails and activities to do. Very nice restaurants. Sometimes it was hard to find the hiking trails and understand their difficulty and lengths. Maybe more signs would make it easier

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis. The perfect base to organize your trips from. Locally you have the Cable car to Fiescher-Alp and Eggishorn. Several walks of 5 to 10 Km loops are passing in Fiesch. In less than a one-hour drive, you can reach the passes Grimsel, Furka, Simplon, and Gottart. Close by you can also find Binn which is a great spot for 1-day hikes on a higher altitude. Fiesch has all the shops you could need. Fuel and resto are a bit cheaper than in the big cities. I loved it!
