The views along the Goms valley were outstanding. My room had a view along the length of the valley to the mountains around the Furka Pass. I was given an upgrade to a larger corner room which was extremely comfortable with a king-size bed, desk and sofa. The couple who own the hotel gave me a lift from the station on arrival and back to the station on departure. Breakfast was very good with an outstanding selection of different bread. Ham and/or salami was for you to slice yourself on a traditional machine. Excellent coffee. We had a wonderful stay in Apartment Werlen! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect – quiet, with stunning mountain views, and just a short walk to the village. Our host was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome.
