Our room was very spacious, proper and comfortable.
Kind and attentive staff.
Simple but delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and bread.
As expected it took a few minutes to get up to the Axalp but the location/landscape is very relaxing.

Stunning scenery, our rooms face the snowy mountains and leave unforgettable memories. With the help of the hotel email, we drove up the mountain very smoothly, and it was good to pay a little attention to the tourists riding scooters on the road, in fact, the uphill route is the same as the route of the scooters.

Excellent location, beautiful view. Easy to pick up keys in a box. Well equipped kitchen, salt, pepper, oil and more. Welcome pasta to cook and coffee. Underfloor heating. Cowbells every morning instead of an alarm clock.

It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake...
It is too far from Interlaken not having a view of the lake as pictures shown, it is located on the top of the mountain, it takes about 20 mn drive on an extremely narrow road to reach there.
Not a single supermarket or restaurant nearby, it is recommended for people seeking tranquility and peace, not for those who plan to visit other places every day.
a washing machine would be an advantage.
I liked that it has Fondue maker and all what's needed to prepare some homemade meals.

Very nice location, great view of the lake and excellent walks.
Be careful of the local drivers. In the 3 days we stayed at Axalp we were bullied by 4 very aggressive drivers on the mountain roads.
