We had a 5 night stay in Vancouver and packed a lot in; Granville Island, shopping in the city centre, trip to Victoria (went out by seaplane and back by ferry), Vancouver aquarium and Stanley Park; the art gallery and Christ Church cathedral, space museum and planetarium, Gastown area and the Waterfront. Also managed to catch an ice hockey game! It's a great city for public transport - buy an all-day ticket from a Skytrain station - and there's lots of cafes, bars and restaurants although I struggled with gluten-free options. Shopping is good too - Downtown for all the major names and Granville Island for local crafts. Would avoid the area east of Gastown.Guest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I did not spend much time in Richmond this trip, as I came in to see the Lene Lovich show at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver. I am however familiar with, and drawn to Richmond, particularly for it's diversity in both people and entertainment options.Guest review byAnonymousCanada - 10.0

North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. Drinks and dinner at Joey’s, not too pricy and great presentation and taste of food. Easy access to downtown via SeaBus.Guest review byKajsaSweden - 10.0

On the whole most drivers courteous, my stay near 200 th, provided good driving to my destination at 7:00 am and at 330 pm, with no traffic bottle necks. An issue with traffic congestion in regards to the new sky train metro construction, they could have had bettter traffic management and coordination, with better signage and flaggers.Guest review byLawrenceUnited States - 10.0

Some amazing restaurants - even in unexpected locations. All the amenities you need nearby. Easy access to some beautiful hiking (30-60 min. away). Also some nice places for walking right in town. So much nicer flying into this small airport vs. Vancouver.Guest review byErnaCanada - 4.0

Review of the Mountain View motel… stayed one night on our way to Okanagan Lake. It was Saturday night of Labor day weekend and due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to get a hotel room. Being a holiday there was not much available. We got the last room in Hope after no luck in the previous 2 towns. The rooms had been remodeled to a degree and what was done was nice but it still was a VERY tired property. My biggest complaint was the price. We had to pay $250. USD for a tired motor inn motel room worth about $70. USD. Which is about their normal rate. Charging $250. Is nothing short of price gouging.Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0

This is a quiet little village on the south shore of Harrison Lake. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it conveys a sense of tranquility that is hard to come by in such a proximity to a large city. Great restaurants, vibrant art stores, ice cream shops make for a great experience. Lakeshore is great for a nice relaxing stroll. There are mineral hot springs - public pool (open air and indoors), and there are hot springs in the Resort as well. There are hiking trails in the area, and an abundance of water sports activities. Black Forest is a renowned German restaurant that is a must-visit.Guest review byOlgaCanada - 8.0
This is a bedroom community.
This is a bedroom community. It is quiet and we respect that short term rentals can be a contentious issue so we kept noise to a minimum. But we are all in our 60s and in bed by 10pm, say no more... That said, we found the proximity to grocery store, gas station and yes, a beer/wine store, within walking distance very convenient. Please be respectful to your host and their neighbors, we intend to stay there again.Guest review byPETERUnited States - 10.0

We found lots to do in Langley like quaint local thrift & secondhand shops. Great buys & deals. We loved the Casino & came out winners. So much to do there & never boring. We loved the restaurants & pubs we tried. We loved the book stores too. Langley is a modern & enjoyable place to visit.Guest review byLeeCanada - 10.0

There is lots to see in Chilliwack The farm circle tour is excellent. Minter gardens is a must for gardeners plus their cafe has delicious food. Walking the Rotary track at Vedder River is wonderful and you get to watch all of the fishing that happens on its shores. The pioneer village is worth a look for its wonderful collection. 1881 is unique and such a lovely shopping experience. Make sure you check out the cheese shop !Guest review bySandiAustralia
