CanadaWe enjoyed ourselves very much here, the hosts were very accommodating for us. There was lots of beds, kids loved the loft beds, said they were like little forts. The location is great, we did a mixture of skiing and snowmobiling and was a short drive to do both. The bunk house is super cute as well.

Very pretty, walkable small town. Downtown on Saturday night was very quiet. Lots of restaurant choices for dinner, we ended up at the Bridge Bistro - loved the river walk on the way back to our hotel. Mountain views everywhere! Fernie is a great small town only 3 hours from Calgary by car. People are friendly and it has a great outdoorsy vibe. In summer there are lots of options for mtn biking and hiking, but also white water rafting, fishing and golfing. There are several stores that sell outdoor gear as well as several places for hiring gear like mtn bikes in summer and boards/skis in winter.
