Exceptional facility and services, prime location, comfy beds, room had both a shower and bathtub. Well stocked mini bar with reasonable prices (though we did not use it). Staff very friendly and professional. Wellness center has a sauna and hammam. Hotel is located at the very heart of the center with immediate access to the main sites, restaurant and shopping street. Life is relaxed here. Just book and enjoy every time Tips: if booking apartment book for apartment number 1041. beat view.. If you are booking a hotel, book in tower 3000 or 4000. FREE and plenty parking is very helpful in orherwise costly parking situations around the city. Breakfast was very good.     Most interesting location, as Hôtel des Thèrmes was opened in the Thirties by the Belgian King. Parts of the hotel are not in use, but the rooms that are in use, are great. Staff is dressed in uniform. Old charm.

    Ostend is a wonderful city.

    Ostend is a wonderful city. I lived here in the past and keep coming back. Some parts of Ostend feel and look not typical Belgian, you feel like you're being in south Europe instead of in Belgium.

    Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.

    Ypres is a perffectly accessible place, very clean and welcoming. Lots of eating and drinking places, and shops, around Grote Markt, and of course many places to see and visist related to WW1. The Menin Gate is a spectacular if sombre reminder of the battles around the Salient.

    Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.

    Lovely little town with diverse shops, grocers, bakers. Beach and sea spotless, excellent life guards, good play areas for the kids. An excellent sea side holiday with lots of attractions close by and a tram to take you there so leave the car at home.

    I have travelled back to the UK from De Panne many times, it is only about 50 mins from the tunnel, and far enough away from Calais and all its problems. Plus, De Panne is a Belgian holiday seaside resort, lots of restaurants, and off the promenade, lots of last minute present buying shops. I have bought so much chocolate from here in the past.

    A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture it is worth taking the time to stroll the wide boulevards and check out the incredible houses, each different from the other. The beach is close by with a long paved promenade, deckchairs and many facilities. There is also a tram service through the centre of town with one direct to Ostende and train connection to Brugge.
