I loved the design and the rooms, super comfortable and was upgraded to a room with a bath, very welcomed after some days hiking. The breakfast was outstanding, with a very friendly staff member meeting the needs of her clients.

Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins está a 19 km de Estación de tren de Kiruna y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Pickup and dropoff were very smooth, exactly at the time we requested it. The area is great, close to nature. The common area is super nice, we played boardgames there, prepared dinner and had a chance to talk to other guests. The igloo was very well planned and equipped. We got an upgrade to a riverfront igloo, this was really appreciated, thanks!! Highly recommend booking riverfront igloos as you'll get front row views to the lake.

Lovely house in Abisko está en Abisko y ofrece alojamiento con patio y wifi gratis. Esta casa rural dispone de jardín y parking privado gratis. Everything was perfect and better than what we expected. The house is beautiful and big. We enjoyed the sauna. The staff was very nice 1

Arctic Gourmet Cabin está en Kiruna y dispone de vistas al lago, bicicletas gratis, jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)

El Camp Ripan es de gestión familiar y se encuentra en un entorno natural de montaña, a 10 minutos en coche del centro de Kiruna. Great place for a visit to Kiruna. Very spacious, warm, clean and has amazing food. The breakfast is world class 👌The staff was very helpful and kindly assisted us to book Northern lights and husky ride.
