Taaj Residence is well situated in central Skardu, but very quiet. The garden is as beautifully maintained as the whole Residence. Staff is incredibly warm und helpful, they go out of their way to help you or arrange something for you, the also have a good address book! Food was lovely (the mother is an excellent cook!) and eating in the garden, soúrrounded by roses, cherry trees and apricot trees is a real treat. The bathroom is all in white - and so clean! Hot water runs in the morning and in the evening, electricity was always available and also WIFI worked well. The bed was good too. I will come back to Taaj Residence for sure!

I had a wonderful experience at Ringchan Guest House in Skardu. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. The highlight of my stay was the incredible hospitality from the manager, Naqeeb. He was super helpful and friendly, even arranging a taxi for me when I needed it. The room was clean, hot water was always and free Wifi available, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Naqeeb really made me feel at home. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Skardu!

The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, making it feel like a true retreat. The staff were amazing, especially Amir, who was thoughtful and seemed to anticipate all my needs. I initially booked for one night but ended up staying for a month because of the peaceful atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Karimabad Bazaar. A special thank to the owner, Noushad, who went above and beyond to help me organize my trips, guide, taxidriver and make sure I had everything I needed. This is by far the most peaceful place in Karimabad, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"

The rooms were very comfy and clean. The surrounding area was very peaceful. The owners were super helpful and arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and arranged other excursions for us. The food was delicious. Very good experience here!

The hotel is more like a youth hostel, where you have the possibility to meet many people and befriend the personnel. Chambers and bathrooms are individual, no dormitories. They even have WiFi and hot water for the shower. The hotel personnel are really amazing people, always there to help, and even to guide you for trips.
