Mike & Jenny's Kaka Point Accommodation está en Kaka Point, a 4 min a pie de Kaka Point Beach y a 1 km de Playa de Port Molyneux. Los propietarios fueron encantadores. No pudimos quedarnos en la zona porque hubieron inundaciones y estaba la zona en alerta roja y contactaron con nosotros para informarnos y para asegurarse que estábamos a salvo. Si vuelvo a Catlins, me quedaría sin dudarlo en este sitio por el trato humano que tienen los propietarios.

Private seaside couples hideaway, que cuenta con vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con jardín y patio a unos 3 min a pie de Kaka Point Beach. A very charming old fashioned cottage. It's all redone on the inside and outside, while attention was made to preserving historic features. Very private setting with partial view to the ocean. Away from the touristy centre, yet within a walking distance to the restaurants, either along the road next to the shore or via a beach walk. The cottage had everything one would need, cooking facilities, compact cappucino maker, heating, Netflix, outdoor private sitting areas, well maintained garden, even a washing machine. We didn't meet the hosts in person but they were very responsive to our queries and returned the calls immediately. It's wonderful that the owners welcome pet dogs and provide even water/food bowls and dog toys. The holiday home oozes with charm.

Mohua Park - Catlins Eco Accommodation está en Owaka y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con barbacoa. Our cabin, Kaku, surrounded by trees and birdlife, overlooked rolling green fields dotted with sheep and the surrounding hills. It was so peaceful. Within 2 minutes walk were magical forest paths lined with magnificent tree ferns, crown ferns and undisturbed vegetation. The cabin was beautifully decorated, and contained books on the area, games, a well equipped small kitchen with a barbecue on the balcony. The old house on the estate was built in the 1920s and creates a feeling of timelessness. The owners helpfully supplied local history and tourist information and were so welcoming. We would have happily stayed longer in this unique oasis of tranquility and nature and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates these special qualities.

Hospitality of our hosts and the cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed the sea views and ability to walk easily to a spectacular beach and stunning forest loop walk. Our hosts Mary and Fergus are vibrant with roots in art, conservation and tourism, and it was a highlight to meet them.

Amazing location to explore the Caitlin’s. Very cute cabin. Comfortable and clean. Good kitchen facilities which was important as there are no restaurants or shops very close to the area.

Hilltop Accommodation Catlins está en Papatowai y tiene vistas al río, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. What an absolutely beautiful setting. The house is nestled in the fields and lots of curious sheep to watch over you. We loved it, we had everything that you would expect with so much old world charm.
