And is a quiet place to rest when outside is so loud! The bed is very comfortable and clean. I really like it and the breakfast was complete. I highly recommend it

This is a house of a local family, so it’s a best way to stay here and get the most of local life. I spent a whole week here for the Nepali new year and had several Newari dinner meals with the host’s family (include a new year feast). I learned to properly eat with my hand. And I appreciate they changed the food every day a bit when I said I like to try more kinds of local food. The rooptop is the best place to have a full view of the Dubar Square and valley, I really enjoyed to stay up there every morning and night, so peaceful and chill. During the festival, the host provided all the infos about when and where to see the celebrations and even show me around, tell stories about Bhaktapur and the festival. It’s the place I would like to come back one day.

The best part of my stay was my encounter with the sacred Rudraksh Tree in their garden. I have never thought of finding the holy tree in any hotels. So lucky I am.
