We had booked this place for one night and wish we booked for more as it turned out to be the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka in our trip. Randy took us around in the evening and we saw his beautiful village and could attend the local festival an hour away - we got really lucky. We woke up the next day for a 4:30 AM safari and Randy was there waiting for us with two bottles of water. Absolutely beautiful hospitality and kindness. We were in awe. Big thanks to Randy and his wife for such a lovely time in Yala and for making our anniversary such a special one.

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful and location with panoramic views over rice fields. The city is within a short and beautiful walk. Our room was spacious, spotless and full of light. We could have one of our best sleep in Sri Lanka, thanks to the great beds, AC and barely any mosquitoes. You might find small bugs, but it’s something expected in a location in the nature. The breakfast and dinner were copious and delicious, with a few choices for dinner (rice and curry was spectacular) We organized a full day safari, the best have had so far in Sri Lanka (we have done 3 in total. Breakfast, lunch with curries and plenty of cold drinks and snacks were provided. The driver was gentle driver (drivers tent to be aggressive to find the best spot) and thanks to his sharp eye we could spot many animals: peacocks, water buffalos, families of deers, many birds and a magnificent leopard. We could also see a few elephant families with babies and younger elephants, so close we would have the impression we could touch them! It was an unforgettable experience for our family. The host went above and beyond to meet all our needs: safari, laundry, Tuk Tuk for a visit to the beach, a taxi service to our next destination… they even would buy us curd with honey as it’s a local specialty and we absolutely loved it! We would recommend this place without hesitation and we are looking forward to coming back in a future!

From the delicious food to the well-maintained campsite and the knowledgeable guides, every detail was perfect. The safari itself was unforgettable, with amazing wildlife sightings and stay inside the yala national park. in the night time we show leopard around us.with the many of animals sounds actually we didn't sleep, it unusual for us.this is the same like we stayed in Serengeti National park in Kenya.same feeling i got in here. This is the ultimate way to experience Yala, national park inside night with animals and we highly recommend it!
