Justin went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and his English, cooking skills and stories are great. He’s such an asset to the business. The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge. It’s about a 10min walk to the beach which is very popular with Sri Lankans on the weekends. Lots of small home restaurants to eat at and small shop over the road with a beautiful family running it.

Nothing to put your luggage on in the room but I’m sure the owner will provide for everything in the future , the guesthouse is brand new and had just opened around the 1st of August . It’s located 10 mn from the beach . There are several little restaurants in the area. “ Seafood restaurant “ at the end of the street is a good one . The beach is natural , no club, no loud music , it’s beautiful you can find some mat to relax at the little restaurant on the beach .

Also there are plenty of cheap and delicious foods around the place so you can feel local and not pay tons of money for the rice and curry. One important thing to add: the host is an amazing and very kind person who dedicates to helping people with hard deseases to get treatment.
