The excavation site of Polonnaruwa is easy to reach by bike. On Binara's recommendation, we went on a boat trip with fishermen, a couple, who even had a small picnic with them. A very special experience. He also arranged pick-ups for us with a reliable driver. We really enjoyed our days at Binara and can highly recommend this family-run accommodation.

Tropical Dream Villa Habarana tiene vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Está en Moragaswewa, a 12 km de Pidurangala Rock. We were welcomed with open arms. The apertment was giant and very clean. We had good functioning wifi and ac. The apartment was the cleanest one we had in Sri Lanka. We just stayed one night- so we unfortunately couldn't explore the beautiful garden they have! The owners even stayed up early at 05 am to cook a breakfast for us! They also recommended a safari guide who was very kind. It was all very unproblematic- we highly recommend!

I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

He tooked care of us and for everything that we needed, giving us recommendations, sharing with us delicious meals, inspiring conversations and moments that will remain with us forever. OSHKI Farm and Holiday Resort está en Welikanda y dispone de vistas al jardín, bicicletas gratis, jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y zona de barbacoa. If “off the beaten track” is what you’re after, this is the place. It’s a farm run by a beautiful family who have a well appointed set up for visitors. We chose this location being somewhat close to Somawathiya National Park. Unfortunately, the National Park is not open to the public so instead we visited Somawathiya Chaitya. A great traditional breakfast is included and our hosts went above and beyond to help us in any way they could. BTW - their English is not good but adequate with the assistance of translation apps.
