There are tons of common areas and always something going on: sunrise hikes to Pidurangala, secret sunset spots, lake swims, safaris… you’ll never be bored. And the team is always around – they truly care about the people staying here, and it shows. The price is kind of ridiculous (in a good way) – it even includes breakfast! Lunch and dinner are cooked and shared together too, if you want and the food is next-level delicious. It’s close to the road so getting around is super easy – tuk tuks from the guys, bikes, scooters or just calling a PickMe. I ended up extending my stay longer than planned and only left because I had a flight but I’ll 100% be back!!

Bernard and the staff were incredibly nice. Bernard helped to organise our four day itinerary with sunrise and sunset hikes to Pidarungala and Lion rock. Furthermore he helped to organise a wonderful cooking class and a Safari. I can't emphasise enough how good a time we had. There are also a couple of cool restaurants right next to the hotel. The stay was amazing, the hotel was clean and we did also have some time to enjoy the pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

Sri and his family were very caring and made sure that I was comfortable and had all I needed. The room is spacious with balcony and attached bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Sri picked me up from the station, helped with sightseeing arrangements, train ticket and patiently answered the many questions I had regarding onward travel within Sri Lanka. Breakfast was awesome – a different spread each day – all of which were delicious! I would definitely stay here if I were to visit Kandy again. Thank you, Sri! (and family…you are awesome too!) Accomodation was clean, comfortable and quiet. PLUS, Amma is a 5-star cook so the food was top quality - so very yummy! Don't hesitate! Book those place! I'll be going back regularly 😊.
