I stopped writing reviews but it would be a disservice not to rate this glampsite. The tent was spacious and high, the toilets were clean, the food was divine, and the customer service おもてなし was impeccable. I was exhausted from work, stressed, jaded by city life, eating poorly and sleeping badly. I am so grateful to unwind in such a gorgeous location surrounded by nature and kindness. I recommend bringing crocks or sturdy slip-on outdoor shoes, especially for the toilet. I also suggest bringing earplugs if you wake easily to bird noise. I also recommend the venison stew, the cassis orange, and the apple pie. To the company, I know hot water is provided in a thermos but I would definitely rent a mini kettle if you had one available. All in all, a fantastic experience especially after two awful group camping trips. ありがとうございました！

The accommodation had everything one could need – we even found coffee and some spices, which was a lovely touch. Thank you for that! Cleanliness was also perfect. The owners offer breakfast for an additional fee. One thing to note: the dining table is Japanese-style, so you sit on the floor rather than on chairs. The beach is just a one-minute walk away, and you can enjoy long walks along the promenade or simply relax with the sea view.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, it is perfectly located, two steps from the beach and right next to a tram stop if you want to get to the center of Kamakura and other train stations. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and you had the possibility to privatise their onsen, which was a great way to wind down after walking all around Kamakura visiting all the sights. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff was lovely.

The accommodation was very well clean, organised and well equipped. I wish I stayed there for a week so that I could make full use of the kitchen equipments and bathtub. The foldable doors were great as we could enjoy the private backyard in the mornings and evenings to get fresh air.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 24 km from Yokohama Marine Tower. The property provides services including meeting and banquet facilities and culture classes. Tetsu san has been the kindest host who goes out of his way for guests. Not only did he offer to pick me up from the Fujisawa JR station (which I did not have service to see but the offer was appreciated) he met me at the Enoden station to help with my luggage, and allowed me to extend my stay when I realized I did not book enough nights. But his generosity blew me away when I mentioned I had the worst heartburn I've ever had in my life and had woke up in a huge amount of pain in the middle of the night (since i have a history of digestive issues, this was genuine panic and call my family level pain). I felt better by the morning but he gave me some lozenges to help soothe my throat and showed where there was green tea in the kitchen. When I came back from being out in town that night, I found some anti inflammitory medicine and ginger tea with a note on how to correctly use the medicine. I was so moved I cried. Thank you so much for a comfortable stay and being such a welcoming and kind host. The property itself is very well located in walking distance to a Jr station with a local tram next door to get around Enoshima to Kamakura. So it's also close to lots of food and shopping for anything you need. Rooms are spacious and private, there's a full kitchen for use, and there's even a bath tub in the shower room.

Sanae, the hostel owner, is very sweet and takes good care of the hostel. Her Japanese-style breakfast is also delicious! All other positive reviews are on point.

The small details, like the welcome tea service and the evening turndown, made the stay feel truly special.

Tokyo Chinzanso Hotel is a 25-minute taxi ride from JR Tokyo Train Station. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Edogawabashi Subway Station. This was one of the best hotels I have experienced in my whole life. Every detail is thought about. Number one favourite thing for us was the garden. Absolute magic. We tried every restaurant in the hotel and each was exceptional. With two small kids, ages 5 and 2, this was the perfect hotel. I was sad to leave and can’t wait to come back.
