It also has a secure yard for parking. Less than three minute walk into the town Square, where one will find a pet friendly cafe, known as Ciara's Candy and cafe. Kevin has a pub as well, where your pet is welcome and the staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. We had a Totally relaxed break and even our cockapoo, Mitzi relaxed for a change, as she does not travel to well. A good base for traveling from. Definitely be back. Was an amazing stay we had and the host was absolutely brilliant went out of her way to help you and nothing was to much for her. Also offered us a lift to where we needed to be for a family wedding. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of to choose from including a fry up. Beds were comfortable and would defo recommend this place to anyone

Very clean, new, appealing and well appointed for a family with modest cooking desires. The Carranstown Lodge next door offers a wide selection of tasty meals and gluten free options, which we needed. It is centrally located within the Boyne Valley historic site must-dos and has free parking with surveillance and is quiet. A nearby soccer field provided fun evening entertainment. I would definitely return to this lodging in the future.

Very good location. Close proximity to the Hill of Tara and other sites as well as towns and villages in the area. Excellent accommodation, very clean. Attentive and accommodating stuff on site. We were moved by a thoughtful details like a welcoming gift basket with fresh eggs, milk, butter and other goodies. The owners also equipped the property with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay, like an umbrella, picnic basket, and other lovely things. We felt welcomed and would certainly love to come back and stay at decoy cottages again. The local kitty Rona stole our hearts. Totally welcoming, beautiful ginger lap kitty!
