The rooms are fantastic—spacious, well-designed, and the addition of a small kitchen with a full-size fridge is a great bonus, especially in the city centre. Everything was spotless, and the A/C kept the air fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is, of course, unbeatable, sitting on the top floor of St James Quarter. Parking was an absolute breeze—you simply park in the main shopping mall’s underground garage, where there are plenty of spaces. It cost only £26 for two nights after getting the ticket validated at reception. If I’m not mistaken, £26 is the maximum charge, meaning even for a week-long stay, you’d only pay that amount as long as you don’t take the car out.

The property is 600 metres from Edinburgh Waverley station, and within 700 metres of the city centre. Room 108 (Velvet Cake) I absolutely loved my stay at BrewDog DogHouse Edinburgh! It’s unlike any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this was going to be a different experience. The hotel has so many unique touches that make it stand out, like free pick & mix sweets and the fact that they offer both still and sparkling water for free - such a treat to have sparkling water available! There’s also Grind coffee available in The Atrium, but the coffee machine decides when it wants to work! There’s also plenty of games in The Atrium to keep you entertained. The room itself was packed with cool features. There was a vinyl player, a beer fridge, a guitar, and a mini bar stocked with plenty of snacks and drinks. It felt like a home away from home, but with an awesome BrewDog vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very welcome. The biggest highlight, though, was the fact that you’re staying right at a BrewDog, and you can even get room service. The 24/7 hotdogs were surprisingly delicious and definitely had no right being so tasty at that hour! Thank you for also keeping the pins & postcard topped up. As someone who is purposely visiting BrewDog’s to get the BrewDog Visa stamped, I really appreciate it when pins & postcards are topped up. Overall, this hotel offers an experience that’s fun, unique, and packed with great little details. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Edinburgh! Highly recommend it!

Boasting a central location in Edinburgh, a 2-minute walk from Waverley railway station and a 5-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle, The Old Town Chambers apartment development offers modern, luxury apartments with free Wi-Fi. Location is prime. The room was as excellent as our first visit. The courtesy of staff was generally attentive and nice. We'll come back for the 3rd time whenever we visit Edinburgh in the future, surely.

Just 20-minute walk away, this serves as a refreshing warm-up en route. Additionally, [Oxygen Fitness Studios], just a 3-minute walk across the gardens, consists of two studios equipped with rowing machines, spin backs and free weights. truly enjoyed my stay at The Scott. The property is beautifully designed in an elegant Scottish style that makes you feel like you’re staying in a small castle — a perfect blend of charm and understated luxury. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or requests. Although the room was not very large, it was thoughtfully furnished, cozy, and had everything we needed. I particularly appreciated the small touches — like the daily treats, cookies, and coffee provided in the room. These little details made the whole experience feel extra special and warm. I would also like to highlight the breakfast — the atmosphere was simply wonderful. The dining room was stunning, the service excellent, and the food both delicious and beautifully presented. There was a nice selection to choose from, and it truly felt like a luxurious start to the day — the perfect way to begin exploring Edinburgh.

First opened in 1902, The Balmoral now offers rooms with a spacious marble bathroom and an interactive TV. Many rooms have views towards Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town. We spent four nights here over Christmas, as a family that travels a lot, this was a stay that really stood out. The staff went the extra mile and the attention to detail was unparalleled. From a little robe and slippers for our daughter. Milk and cookies every evening. One detail that I’ve never had before, was our charing cables next to the bed were neatly tied every night. The staff were all tremendous, if there was an option for a 6th star ⭐️ that would’ve been well deserved.

The property is non-smoking and is set 28 km from Dalhousie Castle. A beautiful, historic property - lovingly maintained and upgraded, with unique little touches of character and charm - plus friendly, personable staff and excellent food. Very cozy and comfortable!!!

This recently renovated aparthotel is located 500 metres from Edinburgh Castle and 500 metres from Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The aparthotel has family rooms. Super clean (and I'm very picky), very nice place. Would totally stay here again!!

The property is 500 metres from the city centre and 500 metres from Edinburgh Castle. One Of the best. The location is perfect, near wonderful restaurants, parks and for just playing walking. All of the furniture appeared brand new and expensive more importantly, it was very comfortable. If we get back to Edinburgh, this is the place I would want to stay and I will recommend it to friends.
