I booked for 2 nights with breakfast included in October. It was the end of the rainy season and everyone in town was busy with renovations for the upcoming high season. It is a family business and the hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Ciza is a professional, very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide and Rose is an excellent cook. When booking, I did not inform them of my dietary needs (very sorry) and they were able to accommodate me on the spot, which I appreciated very much. I decided to extend my stay for another 2 nights because I really enjoyed it and there are many things to explore. I would recommend not only staying at Ciza&Rose, but also letting them organize the hiking activities for you so that you get the most out of your vacation in Portela.

TCHAN LOVe tiene vistas a la ciudad y está en Portela. Cuenta con restaurante, club infantil, bar, jardín, terraza y zona de juegos infantil. Estuvimos dos noches , lugar tranquilo a pie del volcán. Subimos al volcán con su guía, Juliano , y todo fue perfecto

Hotel Salinas São Jorge tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en São Filipe. Todo lo demás, comida, emplazamiento, ambiente tranquilo prácticamente sin turistas..

Rose silva está en Portela y dispone de wifi gratis, terraza y restaurante. El apartamento ofrece desayuno continental o vegetariano. Great location, at the foot of the volcano and in the middle of the village. If you choose to eat there, food is really great and you are welcome at the host’s.

El trato recibido me hizo sentirme como en casa.Recogida y traslado al aeropuerto información de rutas y guías.Y todo lo necesario que necesite.Sin lugar a dudas volveré.Una gran familia y muy agradecido por el trato.

Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura está en Portela y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza y restaurante. En el bed and breakfast se sirve un desayuno continental. Exceptional! Such an amazing place and hosts. Jose and Socorro have been amazing with us all around. Jose built the place himself out of lava rock. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed, you're on a volcano after all. They guided us to the top of the volcano and back, accompanied us around the area and drove us back to Sao Felipe on a sunday, when no collectivos are running. A magic place, super energetic and positive hosts, great cooks and helpful hosts.

Cruzeiro Guest House, que tiene terraza, bar y vistas a la ciudad, está en São Filipe, a pocos pasos de Playa de São Filipe. Spacious, clean room with a sea view, you can sleep listening to the waves. The staff was very friendly and helpful, good breakfast served at the roof. Super happy with this accommodation. :)

Casa Marisa 2.0 dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Portela. Hay parking privado gratis y el alojamiento ofrece servicio de traslado de pago para ir o volver del aeropuerto. The breakfast was beyond delicious we enjoyed eating fresh goat cheese, organic fruits, and fresh coffee directly from the island 👌☺️the staff members were friendly checking if everything was good and if we needed anything else.

COSEC Tours dispone de piscina al aire libre, salón de uso común, restaurante y bar en Cova Figueira. The location is good, at the edge of a peaceful and friendly village means no noises at night. Also not far from Fogo viewpoint (20min drive). Bus station 30sec walking, supermarket and restaurant 10sec as both are available directly in / at the house. The owner is super friendly and is easily available via booking or WhatsApp. The room is big, with a big comfy bed and enough plugs to charge your stuff. There is a small balcony, and the bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Secured parking is also available. There is a nice terrace with a pool and great views. I really liked my stay here and can totally recommend this place.

OpenSky, que se encuentra en São Filipe, tiene aire acondicionado y ofrece alojamiento con balcón. Dispone de terraza, bar, vistas a la ciudad y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Stayed one night and very pleased. I did the walk from the airport and yes about 20 minutes flat. The room was clean and the A/C worked well. Great location, right near the square. I really liked the spacious balcony. Breakfast provided and on the more basic side but still fine to start the day.
