From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Popochos Beach Eco Lodge ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, y está en Nuquí. Algunos alojamientos incluyen un balcón con vistas al mar, cocina totalmente equipada y baño privado con ducha. Lo mejor es el servicio de Hugo y su Familia, están pendientes de todo, la comida (almuerzo y cena se deben pedir con anticipación), el hotel está frente a la playa, la playa es bonita, muy tranquila, se puede caminar, los tours son muy buenos vale la pena hacerlos, llevar chaqueta de invierno. nos gustó que el hotel tiene servicio de agua y café permanentemente

Mi Cabaña El Maderal está en Capurganá y tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. El alojamiento se encuentra a 5 min a pie de Playa de Capurganá. You were with family. Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

Cabañas Luna Escondida, que cuenta con jardín, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Capurganá, a 5 min a pie de Playa de Capurganá. El espacio es bastante acogedor, tranquilo. La comida deliciosa y las personas que trabajan allí siempre están dispuestas a colaborarte con una buena sonrisa, son super serviciales. Me encantó

The Humpback Turtle tiene jardín, zona de playa privada, salón de uso común y terraza en El Valle. The location is amazing, so many hikes and tours available. Very clean hostel, the staff clean everything for what seems like twice a day. The restaurant serves great food, especially the fish here…wow.

The generous hospitality of Profe Hernando and Doña Nore was incredible. We spent many hours with our hosts being shown around, cooked for, and transported to different places on their boat. It felt like a very authentic and local experience and we were able to learn a lot about the people, history and culture of Arusí. The posada was beautifully set up and very comfortable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Posada La Veranera está en Arusí. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada y un baño compartido. En la casa rural se sirve un desayuno americano. Hay jardín y terraza en Posada La Veranera. Me encantó este lugar. Fue una gran oportunidad para compartir y aprender de su cultura, del Chocó con la señora Dala y don Leo. La comida deliciosa! y podia salir al mar desde la posada
