We had an absolutely amazing stay in the Cabin. It is the furthest unit, at the end of the farm with beautiful views of the Rondevlei, with absolute privacy. The Cabin is spacious with two beautiful and fully equipped rooms and en-suite bathrooms; a kitchen and dining room with everything you may need - and more. Apart from ‘the normal’ milk, coffee and tea, they provided perfectly measured sachets of filter coffee for the plunger, complete with packets of biscuits and a pot of marshmallows. It has a nice balcony /deck area with comfortable sun-loungers and a gas bbq with little table, equipped with all braai tongs and dishes, put ready. Just off the terrace is a braai / fire pit with a wood fired hot tub - which was pre-heated when we arrived…. It was the absolute highlight of our trip. It was amazing to sit in the hot water, glasses of wine in hand, admiring the stars in the clear skies or listening to the birds chirp away. The whole weekend was absolutely amazing with every possible comfort because everything is clearly very lovingly furnished and put together. In addition to the facilities described on their site, there are so many little touches and nice surprises to be experienced. Hint: order the breakfast! It is AMAZING! Hiking is available on the farm and in the adjacent Wilderness National Park. We did not have personal contact with the hosts, but the communication was amazing and prompt via WhatsApp.

We had the best 3 days at Loch Haven. The cottages were located in the most beautiful area surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds. The cabin had all the essentials, was neat and well thought out. Will definitely book again when in the area.

It is almost impossible to write down all the positives and the amazing experience that we had. But here we go ... Check In We were met at the gate by the whole team (Debs, Marc & Rafael) who greeted us with massive smiles and welcomed us to the property. They helped us take our bags from the car and took them to the villa. They gave us a tour and the passion for what they do was evident with a focus on sustainability & hospitality The Villa I feel the best way to describe it is: Luxury Villa meets Fantasy Tree House. The Villa has everything you need for your stay and you sit back and enjoy. There is multiple dining options (the fire pit & Braai area was our Fav). The beds are so comfy and the attention to detail is unrivalled The Property It is such a unique place which is all a nod to Debs & Marcs family and heritage ... all of which has been hand built The Hosts Debs & Marc are great people and they treat you like family and make you feel instantly welcome and are available to help 24/7 with any questions or anything needs doing. Debs offers a private dining experience which i highly recommend (sorry Debbie i will be stealing your receipt). Rafael He deserves his own section !! Rafael is the right and left had man to Debs & Marc. He is possibly the nicest person in the world and he is there to help in anything you need. With a beaming smile and infectious laugh such a great human. Ask him anything and it is done ... what a person !!!

Beautifully located guest house on the lagoon and a very short walk to beach and center. Nice little pool and great that they have canoes! Also super tasty breakfast. Our room/little house was beautifully decorated and with everything we needed although would choose one without stairs with a toddler next time. Comfortable bed. Wished we had stayed longer.

So peaceful, loved the donkeys coming to say hello on the evening. Comfortable clean cottage and thé kids really enjoyed feeding the animals in the morning and we went running in their piece of woodland. The host went out of her way to help us organise kayaking.

    Facilities were clean and comfy. Well equipped. Loved the little dog treats and chocolates on beds. A bag of wood, firelight and matches were provided for tub or fire pit outside. The trails were fantastic and well kept. We didn't interact with any staff but communication was great. We had to change our booking dates and they were very accommodating. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and mole hunting! Stunning sunsets and beautiful mountain views from pool area. Definitely value for money
