We did a tour from seattle down to san diego. This was the 15th place we stayed at. Very easily one of the best price/quality wise. The staff and the facilities. Also no homeless around the area. We felt safe even at late night. This is not a luxury place; but comfortable enough to use as a base for a day or two. The nearby westlake area is great for food and a short walk.

Great hotel. Very good localisation close to Malibu and easy access to LA (except traffic of course ...-. Room very clean, good size. Very good options to eat, nice fitness center and swimming pool. Strongly recommend.
