Casa Encantada is beautiful and well appointed. The owner Victoria is an artist and has impeccable taste in beautiful things. She knows all of the art ists in the area. And is font of information about the history, culture and artisans of the area. The front desk staff is bilingual and very friendly and accomodating. Smiles and friendliness all around. The general manager, Luis, will help you book tours of the surrounding area and help you get around the city to find what you need. The rooms are comfortable and well kept. I have stayed in three different rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows nice and fluffy. The breakfast is delicious and a great place to meet fellow travelers. The location is outstanding. Only a block off of the main plaza. I highly recommend Casa Encantada! It does not disappoint.

The location was perfect to experience the Day of the Dead festivities. The fact they had parking in the rear was super ideal since during this time the town is full of people. The room was larger than expected and the bathroom /shower was a great size and the water pressure was great! The girl who checked us in was very helpful. And everything was super clean!

Very kind and attentive owner. Good bed, and real hot water. Compact room, but enough room for myself and my dog. A kitchenette with an electric kettle. Lots of restaurants and food stalls to choose from. Very quiet.

It is a great location, convenient to everything and just a couple minutes walk to the main plaza. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and made me feel completely at home. In fact, the staff went out of their way to help me when I needed anything. I had a room with private bath, and it was very comfortable. The shared courtyard space is beautiful, and I loved sitting out there. I’d love to go back sometime.
