We chose this accommodation in the desert based on the excellent reviews and ratings, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect! Our hosts picked us up, showed us around, and made us feel at home. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with so much delicious food. We had a great time sitting under the open sky. The bed was very comfortable for the night. I highly recommend this place—it’s top-notch and truly amazing! Big thanks to Ikhlef and Hassan.

Wonderful camping site, tents had shower and toilet, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast, amazing bonfire and local music. The staff was very well organised, we took a Jeep ride to the camp and traveled back on camels, both were truly amazing, allows you to enjoy unique nature, very beautiful, highly recommended.

Our stay in La Maison-Berbère was just magical. The host is beyond helpful and happy to assist you with all your needs. Meals are hefty, homemade and simply delicious. One can choose to sleep either in the room or under the stars on the mattresses taken out upon request. There's ice cold water and fresh fruit available at all times. We also learnt a new card game and could play with the host's kitties. We can strongly recommend the Sahara trip, which in 2025 cost 100 euro per person. The driver, with whom the owner cooperates, is so skilled he should compete in the Dakar rally. During the trip we were taken deep into the Sahara desert, where we spent the night smoking hookah, eating tajine and drinking Moroccan tea. Our stay exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression.

We spend here amazingly great weekend, surrounded by tranquility, hospitality and joy of simple life. It was great experience to feel how bérbere nomads live their everyday in Sahara desert. We enjoyed walking among the quiet dunes, admiring the stoning sunsets, tasting vegies from desert garden and music evenings in circle of warm fire. It was a good place to stay in Mhamid even for a few nights. The room was pretty spacious and had a shower, and a toilet. On one night it didn't have a strong water pressure but I figured it was because of the water in the desert - there is not much of it. The sheets and pillows were clean. I had ordered breakfast and had forgotten to mention that I didn't eat dairy. The owner prepared some eggs for me, it was lovely. The stars at night were amazing since the Rad is located a bit far from the town's light pollution.

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

Mahadi is very friendly accommodating, he even offered to come and get me from Mhamid. Nazi has always a genuine smile on his face. A 1 YEAR OLD CAMEL roams in the communal area, he is currently injured and recovering!!! SO CUTE AND HARMLESS. The place is less than a KM from the city centre but the area is safe.# TOP VENUE FOR ADVENTURE SEEKERS, INDIPENDENT TRAVELLERS AND PERMACULTURE ENTHUSIAST, i Slept under the stars!!! unforgettable.
