From the moment we arrived, we felt part of the family, welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Life here moves at a peaceful, authentic pace. Living alongside the villagers and sharing moments with the family gave us a true sense of Amazigh culture. The riad itself is beautifully traditional, with cozy spaces to relax and take in the stunning surroundings. Be prepared for a real, off-the-beaten-path experience. Since the riad is on the hill, you’ll need a pickup upon arrival but the short journey is worth it. If you’re looking for authenticity, hospitality, and nature at its best, this is the perfect place to stay!

We absolutely loved staying here. Firstly an incredible view and so nice to be welcomed with mint tea. We were recommended two hikes from the hosts and were in a fab start location for them both. He even accommodated us having an earlier breakfast as we wanted to get up and go pretty early. The breakfast was so yummy and filling!!! The room was spacious and you couldn’t really ask for more for the amount we paid.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Chyma. The house was clean, comfortable, and full of warmth, both in atmosphere and hospitality. The family were incredibly kind and welcoming - we were greeted with fresh mint tea and snacks on arrival, which was a lovely touch after our journey. Our room had a private bathroom with hot water and everything was spotless. The balcony offered breathtaking, surreal views of the mountains - absolutely worth the walk up from Imlil. To make things easier, their son even met us in town and carried our bags, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and served at whatever time suited us. We also had a fantastic three-course vegetarian Berber dinner one evening, which was lovingly cooked by the family and full of flavour. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their daughter was very sweet, and they patiently answered all our questions. One standout kindness: they let us do a huge load of laundry for free when we arrived - truly above and beyond. We got to Imlil easily by collective taxi from Marrakech (just 50 MAD), and once there, we enjoyed peaceful walks and a quiet Imlil, as it was Eid. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and peaceful stay in the Atlas Mountains.

    Mohammed was an excellent host, the accommodation was excellent and the views from property and surrounding areas were stunning. Mohammed offered guiding services if needed and even came to our rescue when we went for a walk and we got into trouble. The apartment even came with a pet cat and gecko.
