Our host was very nice and helpful. He arranged the rental of bicycles to visit the temple, he gave us information to take the bus and good advice to find local restaurants. The location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants and now far from the temples. The room was very clean and quiet. We thank you for the very nice stay :)

The house was spacious and set in a beautiful garden not far from the lake and within easy cycling distance of the museum and old town. The room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The breakfasts are evening meals were generous and delicious. Binara and his family were friendly and welcoming . He speaks very good English and communicated clearly and promptly throughout. He went out of his way to ensure that I got the most out of my stay and was so kind and helpful in helping me with travel arrangements. He recommended a wonderful elephant safari with a very knowledgeable and experienced guide which I really enjoyed. This was a great base for exploring Polonaruwa and I would highly recommend Binara Homestay.

Our stay at Windy Villa was great! The host was more than welcoming and friendly! He told us all about the places we can visit and activities we can do while in Polonaruva. One of the best things about this place is that it has a washing machine, and that was more than needed on this trip! Oh, yes, the host also welcomed us with some cold beer in the fridge :)

An amazing place with fantastic staff. The location is superb, making it the perfect spot to stay for days and enjoy the views. I'd call it a gem of a location—great for drone shots, a lovely pool, and delicious food. An added bonus was the amazing and tasty English breakfast included with the booking. Nearby, you can enjoy boat rides and watch fishing activities. Plus, I even got a free car wash from the facility!
