Had all the facilities that we wanted. Outside balcony with table and seating with fan. Use of the kitchen. Free laundry. The nice chap that runs the place gave us a lift to the turtle sanctuary in his Tuk Tuk and also helped us get a reasonable price for kayak hire. All in all, a good place to stay.

I had an amazing time here - felt like home. Sam and Kaumadhi are wonderful hosts and take care of everything. She is an amazing cook, loved the authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Perfect location, just a few minutes to Kabalana beach. I highly recommend this place and definitely will come back! Thanks for everything ❤️

I had the best time at The Well so I came back here 4 times during my trip!! The owners do the most to ensure a great stay. It is not a party or super social hostel but the atmosphere is super laid-back and together with the beautiful pool area, it is the perfect place to relax. The price for the dorms is very reasonable as they are very clean, the beds are very comfortable and have curtains. I have met the best people at this place and would always come back here. wonderful experience in sri lanka, the hotel was great, I am very grateful to Hashan and his brother and team for their hospitality, delicious food, pleasant stay. Hashan, a very good man, offered to rent a scooter and a car for a very good price, arranged for a driver to take me to the airport. I recommend staying at this hotel, I will visit in the future.

This is one of the best and most original places we have slept in. The location is perfect (it would only help if there were some signs on the main roads so that people can find the family easily), in the forest, surrounded with trees and wildlife, it was beautiful to sleep with the sounds of nature. Also, Neranga and his family are extremely kind, welcoming and hospitable. They prepared for us a real regal feast for breakfast that one cannot see in many hotels (there was a lot, everything was delicious, we ate almost the entire table), they showed us around, their garden full of interesting plants and fruits, vegetables and spices, and they also prepared small gifts for us when we were about to leave. This was truly one of the nices places we’ve stayed at. Not to mention making a childhood dream come true – sleeping in a treehouse. PS The house has everything: WiFi, hot water, AC, fridge. We loved it all. Especially the real trees with branches that are inside the house, too.
