The PERFECT hostel! The owner, staff and volunteers were super friendly and social and there’s a lot of activities going on like volley ball or beerpong. Was always clean and it only takes you a short walk to get to the beach.

Lovely hotel with caring staff. The hotel is located in a very romantic place - on the shore of a lake. The access to the lake is subtle and surrounded by greenery. There is an opportunity to go kayaking, which we took advantage of. While paddling a decent distance from the shore, my partner lost balance and flipped over on a single kayak. It was not dangerous at all since the lake is shallow, and we were equipped with life jackets. We were amazed that within 4-5 minutes after one of the two kayaks flipped, the hotel staff, in the form of rescuers, were already sailing towards us on a small barge. It was so pleasant. The hotel workers are extremely responsible, caring, and friendly. Our absence during the night (when we were at a party) was also noticed, and the hotel staff wrote to us, discreetly checking if everything was okay with us. Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations: the room was perfectly clean, the bedding was soft and of high quality, there was an extensive range of toiletries, well-maintained grounds, a clean swimming pool, and delicious food. This is one of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip around the island.

We stayed two days at the villa, and it was a really good experience. The room was very spacious and, most importantly, very clean. The owner was very helpful, and the lady who served us was kind and lovely. Breakfast was tasty, and there’s a kitchen area where you can cook if needed — they provide all the appliances. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and town. The service was very nice and welcoming, and the place felt completely safe for girls. Highly recommended!

It was an unforgettable experience staying at this hotel. The view was stunning, with fresh coconuts right from the tree, a perfect, fresh breakfast, and one and only host. Amazing location directly by the beach. Very calm, clean with a beautiful view over the sea. You feel private at the beach. It’s located between very busy Weligama and Mirissa. So it’s the perfect hide out. The staff is amazing, very nice, friendly and especially open for families since it’s family owned. They prepare really good food and drinks, they do bbqs and bonfires. They even had baby turtles when we stayed there. They are very protective of the environment and make sure that everything is well taken care of. It’s just perfect if you love a good beach holiday close to the city. And it’s very good for surfing!
