Everything ! I can normally find fault with just about anything - but I'm struggling here. Petronilla is a small boutique hotel in a quiet street close to the centre of the lower town. It is well positioned to walk up to the older, picturesque upper town (or for the funicular). The hotel is well appointed and comfortable - we were upgraded, so all rooms may not be quite as good as ours: spacious, tastefully decorated with a vast bed and equally huge bathroom. The road outside was very quiet at night for a city centre - even on the night Atalanta beat AC Milan. Breakfast was outstanding (I would particularly recommend the cheese omelette). But what really stands out here is the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff who were all absolutely outstanding. Many thanks to you all - now where is that sixth star when you need it ?

Appartments are nice, cosy, you can find everything what you need for a short staying. The owner met us in late evening. We would recommend this place for staying in Bergamo.

Everything was great. Full equipped apartment, everything brand new. Very quiet location. You have sauna and a small gym. They even provided a kit (bowls for water and food and a cover for the sofa) for our dog. Very friendly staff.

The room was more like an apartment. Very spacious & clean with a balcony. You could easily spend a long period of time here comfortably. Parking was also easy and there was always someone on reception. The location is great, but not as near as 10 minutes like some of the reviews suggest (if you are walking to the top of the old town I would say it’s more like 30 minutes) it’s about ten minutes to the bottom of the old town (just check a map) we didn’t mind at all! Dog friendly also which is great for us as we have two small dogs.
