My wife and I had a wonderful stay! The apartment is brand new and spotless. It is located in the heart of the old city of Bari, in a nice and safe area. Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. One morning, they even surprised us with breakfast, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. Also, since our flight was early in the morning, they assisted us with booking a taxi to the airport.

The host was easy to communicate once I made the booking. I landed at 1am and the keys were in safe lockers. So yes late check in possible . The owner was happy to give me an extended hour to check out. The entrance to the building is from the back. The rooms , bathrooms, living area , balcony were all super clean and huge. Lovely place, but I stayed there just for 10hrs for my sleep. Because you don’t interact with anybody, carry some change, 2 euro per person as city tax which you need to leave on the desk. It wasn’t explicit, so you need to . Landing after midnight at Bari can be tricky. We waited over 45mins for a taxi , who charged me €20. It is 20-25min walk and flat surface. I did not want to walk with my two young kids, so took a taxi. Next morning , I walked back and it was a brisk 15mins walk back to rental car agency. None of the rental car agency operate 24x7 and they don’t support late pickup post midnight. So this apartment is perfect.

It’s in the good location, in the centre near the old town. Everything is very clean and new. Obviously the owners are taking good care of the property. For long stay I would prefer washing marine, but for short one is perfect.

Bra is a charming boutique hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in to the time we departed, the experience was warm, personalised, and seamless. Although we only stayed for one night, the thoughtful gestures made a lasting impression — the hotel surprised us with lovely gifts for our children and arranged a private spa session that was a highlight of our stay. Dinner on the rooftop was nothing short of spectacular. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the staff’s attention to detail elevated the entire dining experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. A special mention goes to the breakfast, which was served in an elegant and inviting space. The variety offered was impressive, and the service was attentive and genuinely friendly. Overall, Bra delivers a rare combination of sophisticated amenities and heartfelt hospitality.     Great location, walking distance to center and bari vecchia. Rooms were small but lovely, modern, and very clean. Bed was comfortable! They charged quite a bit for my dog compared to all other hotels in Italy, but they provided a bed and bowls, which was a nice touch!
