I spent an amazing 3 nights stay in this homestay managed by an really sympathic young man and his lovely family, so kind, helpful and full of good discussions. And so tasty food! Also room really clean and all the comfort needed. And above all, what a experience to discover that incredible island and its inhabitants (people as animals), with the opportunity to see it with an early morning pirogue tour made by the homestay's owner, just superb ! I can just strongly recommend this place to anyone who want to discover Munroe Island, with the condition they respect local communities and that so precious natural environmental Thank you Coconut Family !!

And also its lakefront view and they have kayaking as well. I've been in the HostelExp Varkala and liked the vibe there and came here and it's worth it. we had a lovely stay… the house is very nice, comfortable and clean; the family so welcoming… my friend was feeling sick and they prepared natural medicine for her that helped her a lot…. also delicious kerala’s traditional breakfast and dinner…. house is very close to the river coast, the village is very quiet, lovely people and beautiful landscape…. the perfect place for peaceful and quiet days surrounded by nature and beautiful people ✨

Can’t recommend this place enough! Lovely big and clean room, amazing location and great value for money. The couple that host are so friendly and helpful, they set us up with a sunrise and sunset canal trip, took us on a temple visit, lent us their bicycles, local tour of the village on a motorbike etc. Food was delicious - especially the appum! We felt right at home with their lovely family. We could only stay 1 night but they made us feel really welcome and gave us such a unique experience - one we will never forget! Thanks for having us, what a dreamy stay - we will be back!
