Lovely house in a nice and stylish neigbourhood. David is a wonderful and helpful host. The continental breakfast is excellent, with fresh fruit salade and all. Little cute dog Alfie is the security guard of the house 😉. We had a very agrreeable stay ( 2 nights). We intend to go back next time we visit London.

On our way back home we had a car accident and had to find a hotel near Gatwick Airport to travel home by plane the next day. We didn't want to stay in a real airport hotel, after the shock we wanted to find a nice countryside hotel where we could relax a bit. I searched for the 'best rated hotel' in the area and Stanhill Court hotel came up first and I already loved the pictures. I booked it just an hour in advance. When we came in we were very impressed by the decor. It looked like it was just renovated but also had lovely authentic details. We had the last 2 rooms and were so happy! We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant 1881, with to our astonishment very decent prices! There was a wedding party, but the music wasn't till late and didn't bother us. In the morning breakfast was nice with enough choice. The area is very nice and the views of the countryside are lovely. It felt like a surprise we had found this little gem! Really thinking about going back.

Great hotel, purposeful being so close to the airport and they’ve upgraded so everything is clean and fresh. A big shout out to Kevin who showed me around the executive lounge and was nothing but helpful in making sure my team and I had somewhere to sit and work throughout the day due to flight delays. Because of a plane arriving much later into Gatwick than planned , I arrived at the hotel after closing hours . I had already contacted them to say that there was this possibility but it was not a problem and they advised me that the key would be in the door of my booked room .much appreciated after a long journey.

Really loved everything about this hotel. The check in process was smooth and friendly. I had a room at the back of the property which was lovely and quiet. The room itself was absolutely stunning with beautiful fixtures and lovely personal touches such as earplugs and sweet treats. The facilities were great the room had everything you could need, fan, ironing board, tv, fridge and even a little 50s style radio. It was spotlessly clean and a really lovely place to spend some time. I almost didn’t want to go out for the evening :-) I ate a small meal in the bar area on the evening of my stay which was enjoyable and very good quality and breakfast was also lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area.
