This place offers the best beds I’ve experienced during my time in South America. Everything is spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make your visit memorable. The food is absolutely delicious, a true highlight of the experience. Lovely little farmhouse. The rooms are a good size and clean. Our room had a fireplace that we used throughout the night - it was wonderful. The beds also has heated blankets. We were very warm! Great breakfast, with oats, toast and eggs. Helpful staff who gave us lots of tips about Cotopaxi Lots of cute dogs on the property!

If I could give this place more than ten, I would. Our stay there was wonderful and Paulina was simply the loveliest host I have ever met on my travels. Her mother also cooked us a three course meal that was delicious and enormous - and for a ridiculously low price. The Lodge has a variety of accommodations and a lovely lounge with wood fire. Outside are two llamas and two sheep! The location is on the road from the PanAmericana to the gate of the Cotopaxi National Park so is perfectly situated. Paulina is extremely knowledgable about the area and we were so grateful that she spoke English so that we could talk to her and learn from her. We had originally planned to stay somewhere else but a medical issue required a change of plans - and we are so grateful that we ended up at Rumipaxi Lodge.

The place is located in a quite little town on the Panamerica and right at the foot of the incredible volcanos of iliniza and corazon! Making it the perfect place to rest and start adventures into the Nature like Cotopaxi national park. But the best thing is the little place itself and it's amazing owners that couldn't care more about your well-being and helping you with literally everything!! Enjoy this little oasis in the middle of nowhere and get close to Ecuadors amazing landscapes. Definitely a hidden 💎

Large room clean and quiet. The Dining room has a large fireplace and comfortable chairs. The food is delicious. There are walks around the farm and horse riding. Great views of the volcanos. The owners could not have been more welcoming and hospitable.

Ideal location to start summit to Iliniza Norte or Sur, or just do hiking. Frank, the landlord, is a nice and helpful guy who can rent climbing gear for very affordable prices and provide any sort of advice and sort your problems. Recommend Iliniza Wasi for hikers and climbers.
