We're a family of 4. Stayed one night and regret that we didn't stay longer. Pros: - The hotel is fully renovated with very modern room & facilities while conserving the classic and historic feeling of original site & surroundings. - room was spacious, and the interior was very nice with good lighting conditions. - view was a bit limited lake view due to the original building structure, but maybe in another room, it should have a great lake view, as the hotel stood on the hill over the lake. - had a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food was very nice with at least one star quality, and people there provided really attentive and kind service. - They have dedicated, large size parking building (with a fee) Cons - It's actually a little far from Lugano center, but I knew it and it was not my problem. All in all, it is a much more modern and classy hotel than expected, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Lugano again.

    Extended continental breakfast: in addition to the continental breakfast, the menu includes juices, a dish with sliced ham, cheese and sausage, egg dishes, yoghurts, dry cereals.It is located in a very convenient and quiet location.Very comfortable mattresses and wonderful bedding. Antique interior in common areas and in excellent collectible condition.
