Fabulous location in a friendly small community. Warm greeting from host on arrival Exceptional views from the patio which we enjoyed each evening. A very well thought out appartment with everything a guest would require for a great holiday.Two supermarkets within five walking minutes. To top it all St Gilgen has so much to offer. We will be back.

We stayed in the penthouse with our children for two days only (unfortunately) but it was enough to feel the wonderful atmosphere of this place with history. It is a special home in a special city. The beds were very comfortable, and the sound of the church bells added a unique charm. The balcony was cozy and offered a beautiful view. The house itself is full of interesting details that make it truly memorable. The owners were very welcoming. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would gladly come back again.

Accommodation: The room was spacious. There was a big bed, a corner with the couch and a terrace with 2 sun loungers. It was a very quiet room with a mountain (and only partial lake) view. And there was a prepared bag with additional towels for the pool! Everything was exceptionally clean. The room is equipped with external blinds on the window/door to terrace. The room has a movable curtain, covering the glass wall of the shower cabin - if you wish to know what is happening inside ;) Location: the hotel is located in the middle of the town. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the lake embankment or few more minutes to the public beach. It is surrounded by restaurants. Personnel: they are amazing! They speak German and English. And they are very helpful and friendly! Breakfast: it is great! It consists of different meat and cheese slices, vegetables, fruits and spreads. There was a variety of fresh juices. There were boiled eggs and scrambled eggs as well. Parking: they have their own territory for parking or they can provide you with an allowance to park on the public parking. Public parking is just 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Benefits: there is a sauna. There is even a pool on the roof with the amazing view!

Norman und Irine were of great help to us, picking us up from the airport and dropping us in Salzburg, brought us an umbrella and iron when we needed it, very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable in a great location, close to the lake and center of St. Gilgen. We definitely will come again. Thank you!

This hotel is amazing! Perfection in every detail! Everything from the design and furniture to the bed linen, the softest pillows and the spa-shower in the room exceeds expectations! Breakfast was great! The hotel restaurant is Michelin rated and there is also a very nice bar. The hotel staff are very friendly and courteous.     The one bedroom apartment was stunning in its decor and view of the lake. Very peaceful and very comfortable. Everything you needed for five day stay. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Even leaving treats for our dog. :) We enjoyed the location as well. A five minute walk to Spar grocery store and a 10 minute walk to the village. Easy access to Salzburg by car. We will definitely return!

    The location was amazing - like a fairly tale! Charming church bells. Music in the square. Restaurants a plenty right outside the door. Parking was helpful. We loved the room's querkiness. We loved meeting the owners doggies!
