Close to Taoyuan International airport (from Terminal 1/2 (A12/13) to Station A17 (Linghang)), ~15 minutes (cost TW$ 20 each way per person ~ €0.50c) on the MRT which is clearly signposted in the airport. There are ATMs in the concourse(s), credit card is easier than debit card to get money, there is a manned ticket office at the airport,and at station A17, along with vending machines. You get a coloured token that gives access through the turnstiles It is a 5-7 minute walk from A17 (Linghang) to Alfar Hotel, slightly uphill but very, very gentle slope and smooth pavements), not under a flight path, so quiet overnight. The area is great, very tranquil, a few restaurants and cafes, lovely park and lake with the Calligraphy Museum opposite the hotel. There is no formal breakfast, however, there is coffee, tea, cookies, soft-drink available in the morning. Superb shower/bathroom, slippers provided along with usual bathroom stuff (razor, toothbrushes, etc.). Bed was fantastic with really great pillows. Staff were very friendly, they all spoke English (and probably other European languages). Hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable, wish we could have stayed longer.

Fullon Hotel will no longer proactively provide disposable amenities and bottled water from September 1st, 2024. This is my 2nd time staying. The breakfast is good .MRT is easy and convenient to go to a sports university and airport as well. The basement floor got a food restaurant and shopping mall. It is a good place to stay.

Variety of biscuits, coffee and coco drink are provided.There are oven, warm and cold water dispenser, microwave. Although the location is not very convenient, will still go back to stay cos the house is very closey and warm

We'd booked two nights, but given its remote location and no transportation save for Uber, I asked the owner if we could only stay for one. She agreed.

Excellent if you need a place to stay near the airport. Staff were so kind, even though we didn't meet them. Check-in was easy and the snacks and self-serve breakfast were more than expected. A charming little place to rest pre- or post-flight. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 28 km from MRT Tucheng Station. The homestay has family rooms. By far the nicest accommodation we stayed in during our trip to Taiwan. The historical house in a beautiful part of Daxi has been lovingly and thoughtfully modernised by the hosts. Wonderfully comfortable in every way. The lovely lady who hosts the home stay is extremely kind and generous. She made sure we had everything we needed and is full of great tips and information about Daxi. Daxi itself is definitely worth a visit - it’s an architecturally beautiful and fascinating place to wander.
