It's hard to beat just relaxing under the magnificent sidr tree which is a special feature of the terrace area of this resort. The food is simple but tasty and plentiful. The rooms (16 of them in total) are quite small, but very comfortable and adequate with all the most important provisions. The manager, Shihad, runs an excellent business and is sensitive to the issues that are involved in running a hotel close to a small local village and in an environment of outstanding beauty - but this is his home so he is very caring. I strongly recommend a night here and in the cooler months you could also spend a couple of days here if you just wanted to "chill".

You can tell that the whole team genuinely cares about making guests feel at home. Every aspect of my stay was taken care of with great attention and warmth. The Chedi Muscat’s spa offers an extensive variety of beauty rituals based on the holistic principles of aromatherapy, Ayurveda and herbalism. Free parking is available on-site. We arrived a little early, and were checked into our room with no issue. The rest of the day until 4pm, when we had a tour booked, was spent just relaxing around the hotel having a coffee and cake and walking along the beach path. We enjoyed the beautifully calm atmosphere with the water features, the breakfast offering and variety was superb. Always very friendly and helpful service and the swimming pools at the end of our second day (100-meter pool) was absolutely amazing and we stayed until well after the cauldrons were lit. The room service updates were exceptional.
