This lodge is located on the banks of the Kavango River, along the route toward Botswana just before entering the Caprivi Strip. That’s why we stayed here twice: once on the way to Botswana and again on our return journey. The lodge offers various levels of comfort, including private cottages and well-equipped tents. We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

Namushasha River Campsite offers camping facilities near the Bwabwata National Park.

Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities.

The campsites have private ablution facilities and a barbecue. We liked everything! The place is full of friendly people. A unique experience. Book the boat cruise with Aldrin (thank you so much!!).

We paid extra for dinner - was a very good dinner - food was delicious and breakfast was also very good. The Host was excellent ! The staff were friendly and attended to our requests or issues promptyl. The dining and reception area is beautiful - a wonderful African ambiance looking over the river.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. The camp is very beautiful and very luxurious. Warm welcome, extremely beautiful cabin with lots of privacy and comfort. Gin and tonics with ice were waiting for us in the room. Very good dinner and breakfast. Superb views over Chobe river towards Botswana. Best of all were the manager and the staff. They all put their heart and soul in the place. Everything’s very well run. Staff are cheerful and work very hard to make your stay perfect. We were even treated to a performance by the entire staff.

Overlooking the Okavango River, Divava Okavango Lodge & Spa is located 1 km away from the Popa Falls in the Bagani area. The lodge boasts a splash pool, a restaurant and wellness facilities.

Each of the luxurious Chalets offers a large deck, air conditioning, a minibar and a four-poster bed, draped with mosquito net. There is a spacious bathroom with freestanding bath and an additional private outdoor shower. The staff and environment are equal to none. Top notch.

The lodge also has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, and laundry facilities. Of all the lodges we stayed at in Namibia, Ralf’s Lodge @Ndhovu was hands-down, and by far the best, most authentic, most hospitable, biggest bang for the buck! What makes a huge difference as we’ve discovered with all of our lodges, are those that are owner occupied, always give you much better service, and that is what you will find here! Also, the fact that they have two offerings waterside in essentially house, booths, are the only ones on the Kavango River that offered this amenity. We were in River side one, an outside our deck on the water, was a bloat of hippos numbering probably a couple dozen! What a joy, and treat watching this bloat frolic in the water and do their thing until 10 AM more or less, when they headed to the opposite side of the river, to graze and sunbathe, always returning an hour or so before dusk, to entertain us once again! The vibe is very relaxed at this camp, which makes a huge difference. It’s easy to mingle with other guests, make friends, enjoy Rolf’s staff, and his company, especially the fire pit after dinner each night!

The gardens are stunning and the rooms as super comfortable with quality fixtures and fittings. Stefan provided a delicious dinner at short notice and the food was delicious and well presented. We could not find fault with anything and would highly recommend !
