We started with a beautiful camel ride through the desert at sunset, got to the camp to freshen up, had a delicious multi-course meal (it’s amazing what Hassan can do in the desert!) and then we sang by a bonfire. Got up to see the sunrise (so gorgeous ?) and had an enormous breakfast waiting for us.

When I tried to inquire about costs, Youssef's only concern was our safety on the road. The rooms were spacious, adorned with beautiful furniture, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. I can't recommend this riad highly enough; it's an experience that's bound to make anyone's stay memorable. I'm already planning my return—100% sure I'll be back. The tent was spotless, the atmosphere calm and serene, and the staff made me feel genuinely cared for. There's something magical about the silence of the desert and the vastness of the starry sky above. One night wasn't nearly enough. I wish I had stayed longer to fully soak in the peace and beauty of this unique place.

Back at the camp we ate well, and we really enjoyed some nice times around the fire with music, without it ever feeling like too much. We left the next morning by 4x4, which was a fun way to finish off the stay. We have already started working on our return plan.

The real highlight of the experience was the breathtaking sunset over the dunes, followed by a starlit sky that was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The dinner served was a delicious mix of traditional Moroccan dishes, and the staff was incredibly friendly, sharing stories and music around the campfire. The camel trek to the camp was an adventure in itself – a great way to experience the vastness of the desert.
