Small resort with two large A-frame suites. Contemporary design/decor and well maintained grounds made for a visually appealing experience. Rooms are large with a full ensuite bath/shower. Glass wall at the front lets you see the grounds during the day; full set of curtains gives you the necessary privacy at night. For the price I found the value exceptional. Location is close to town but we used Tuk Tuk's to get there and back.

This is the most incredible family run hotel, I cannot praise it enough. Located just down the road from the National Park so it's the most perfect resting spot either before or after a Safari. You cannot really describe the tranquility and peaceful ambiance of this hotel, it is incredible! The rooms are immaculately clean, really comfortable and well presented. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and were so kind and friendly to both us and our children. The hotel has a fantastic pool which is the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon. The food is some of the best that we have tasted whilst travelling Sri Lanka, completely delicious and freshly cooked dinner and breakfast. The value for money is excellent and you get the feel of high end at a really reasonable price. I'd say that this hotel is a must stay whilst visiting this area. We plan to return on our next trip. La estancia fue perfecta ,la habitación está decorada con mucho gusto.la cena casera estaba riquísima .Leel es un tipo majisimo.Al día siguiente hicimos el safari con ellos .el conductor del safari hizo que la experiencia fuese excelente .Gracias por todo .

We used it as a stopover to visit Udalawawe National Park. When we arrived, we were first given a welcome drink and then we were taken straight to the elephant orphanage for feeding time. Our hosts made every effort to fulfill our every wish. The room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We used the pool to cool off and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the accommodation. The Sri Lankan dinner buffet was the best we had during our stay. We particularly liked this accommodation because of its location and the possibility of booking a safari tour. The very next day we were able to set off from the hotel with the guide and the car for our 4-hour tour. We had a lot of fun and it was an unforgettable experience!

Nuestra estancia el Ali Weta Safari Resort fue maravillosa. El personal es encantador y desde antes de nuestra llegado nos ayudaron a gestionar la reserva de un Safari en el parque nacional de Udawalawe, el cual se encuentra a tan solo 5minutos en coche. Asimismo que disponga de piscina es un lujo para poder descansar tras el Safari. El alojamiento incluye un desayuno que recomiendo no saltarse. Además, aprovechamos para cenar en el hotel y la comida fue un éxito. Recomendable 100%, ¡ojalá volver pronto!
