Since the centre of the park is a little ways from this gate, a full day game drive turned out to be better than a half day - and allowed usto see lots of elephants at the end of the day.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We really liked this accommodation. Although it is not right on the sea, the sand made it feel like it. The owner is very helpful, always trying to help us and asking if everything was okay. He arranged a dolphin watching trip for us, which was one of the most amazing moments in all of Sri Lanka.
