Their place is around 3km from the ancient city. They have bicycles for a small fee. The road next to the lake is amazing. I loved it. The room was spacious and cozy, hot water was available. You can get AC for an extra charge but I think a fan is enough. The food mom cooks is very delicious. I had dinner and breakfast with them. They were there to help me with everything and give me information about my sightseeing. I def recommend this place!!!

One night we even had the chance to help and prepare our own meal the traditional way. Pick up and drop off at bus station are free. Very good service. At night you have an option to go for a walk to see some wildlife. Defo would recommend this place! The host speaks very clear english and really cares about his guests.

Hotel features a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Guests can enjoy meals at the restaurant. Our room was extremely clean and that seems to be rare in Sri Lanka. There was no humidity marks at all in our room. The outside pool area is just so beautiful. The pool is super clean, went for a great swim. The property is surrounded by rice fields and has plenty of wildlife.The rooms are a little out dated but thats ok since everything else is great and clean. Plenty of workers trimming plants and cleaning property. Breakfast buffet also was great. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
