The staff, ***especially Anne (owner) and Amal, were exceptional,they arranged a safari to Yala Block 6 (just 10 mins away!) where we spotted elephants and leopards. The **food was a highlight**: authentic Sri Lankan curries and Western options, all served in an open-air dining area. Don’t miss the **sunset boat ride on the lake**—pure magic! Clean, spacious rooms and a serene pool sealed our perfect stay. We’ll be back!"

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.

The villas are modern, extremely spacious, and well-equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and all essential amenities. We especially loved the beautiful swimming pool that overlooks the serene fields — the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch was one of the best we've ever had — absolutely delicious and full of flavor! Every meal we had was fresh and satisfying. What made our stay truly special was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome and cared for from start to finish. This resort offers true value for money, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone planning a stay in Kataragama. We will definitely return!

Redstone Cottage Gal Oya está en Galgamuwa y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar. En el camping, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. This was honestly one of the most welcoming and thoughtful places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Sydney and his team looked after us so well. The chef asked what we fancied and was very accommodating. He cooked the most amazing curry, lunch and honey hoppers for breakfast (which we were introduced to and absolutely loved). They even gave us a packed lunch for our elephant boat safari, which they organised, along with a great driver. There were little extra touches that made such a different, like beers in the fridge when we arrived (and they went to get more when we ran out), a cooking class with a local family, a really interesting forest walk with an indigenous guide and when we asked if we could do some laundry they sorted it for us with no trouble at all. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot with amazing Mountain View’s, a perfect place to switch off. Would highly recommend supporting this amazing project. Such a great experience 😊😊

El apartamento es lujoso, con todos los detalles que puedas imaginar y unas vistas increíbles desde la propia cama. La comida tanto la cena como el desayuno deliciosos! Sin duda un lugar para volver
