It was our 1st time in Kaziranga and they provided all information they had and helped us efficiently plan our safaris. They booked our jeep safaris and elephant safari and the pick up was arranged from the hotel itself. The staffs in the hotel Sumi and Pranjit went all the way to make our stay comfortable. They helped us when we had to change the dates of our stay over phone. They arranged pick-up from bus stop and helped with all the safari bookings. The hotel location is nearby the central zone gate. The entrance to the orchid national park is nearby as well. The hotel is surrounded by serene paddy fields and the view from the hotel is totally beautiful. We walked around the fields and the village nearby and it felt wonderful. Coming from cities, it felt good to be able to see the stars in the beautiful night sky for a change. The hotel room was very spacious and clean, included all amenities, the bathroom was clean and nice with a bathtub as well. The smart TV worked well. The hotel room was exactly as shown in the pictures. Morning view of the fields from the balcony was worth it. Overall we loved their hospitality and their sweet gesture while leaving. We'd 100% recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Kaziranga.

The apartment, set in a building dating from 2006, is 2.3 km from Assam State Museum and 1.9 km from Guwahati Station. Guwahati Planetarium is 2.8 km away and Umananda Temple is 3.4 km from the apartment. I stayed at BimBan's for 8 nights, and these are what I liked: 1. First of all, the host is very nice. This was actually my first time using Booking.com, so I had a lot of questions and requests, but they always tried to be helpful and responsed with kindness. 2. The location. This house is not located at too crowded place, so I could always take a peaceful rest. However, this doesn't mean it's inconvenient to get to tourist spots or urban areas—rather, most of the spots can be easily reached within 10-20 minutes. 3. The house itself. Neat, cozy, clean, safe(locks on every door), quiet, pleasant and comfortable. The kitchen also has proper utensils. 4. Last but not least, easy and convenient check-in and out procedure. Couple friendly as well.

At the accommodation, rooms come with a seating area. The place was very homely and very welcoming. Mr. Narayanji was very kind to help us with all the needs. Although our journey was delayed, he had kept us dinner ready and the rooms very all cleaned and warmed with heaters as we had informed that we had kids travelling along. The food provided there was just so homely and was local delicacy. This is located 500m from the main bus stand where you can get pretty much everything(major market too). He was kind enough to arrange the Safaris and instructed the drivers to take us to the areas where the spotting was prime. The two night stay was very much budget friendly and was surprised as we visited during the season and he did not take us for a ride unlike other places. He genuinely promotes tourism.

Really lovely hotel. Our train arrived really late into Guwahati but the staff were lovely and made us a late breakfast. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had in India. Room was big, very clean and very comfortable. WiFi was good. Easy to walk to nearby cafes and restaurants. If I'm in Guwahati again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Free private parking is available and the guest house also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The place is within 10 min walking distance from where the shared tuk tuk leaves you (coming from the ferry ghat). It is on a side nature alley but it is close to the main road and market and to the Garamur Satra (3 min). The rooms are ecologically built with bamboo and clay and they have a nice terrace area in front of each room. The place also has a restaurant on site and has a really good rice beer. Hot water is on request with a bucket. The best part is the owner - He is very nice, positive, knowledgeable and helpful and will make sure you have the best of your time on the island. Whatever you wish for he will make sure you get it. He helps you with everything: from suggestions and maps of where to go, to transportation (renting bycicles or tuk tuk), organizing to see a donyi polo ceremony, staying at a satra, dropping you off with a scooter at some nearby places. And everything with a big smile! Highly recommend this place!

Very good hot shower, European style comfortable mattresses. Staff and manager very attentive and friendly making every effort to help. This is a professionally run 'camp', also well aware of non-domestic traveller needs. They use solar power and a very nice touch is the caraffe of filtered water already on the dinner table. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. We would return any time with pleasure. Immer wieder gerne!

It’s a perfect spot for couples and families (not suitable for house parties). The place provides homely and cozy experience. The location is very quiet and peaceful with good road network connectivity in the heart of Tezpur.
