The house itself is somewhere between timeworn and lovingly renewed — full of character, a place that breathes history but feels alive. Their dog Noah, a charming and friendly dalmatian, held court from the living room chair and added even more soul to the place. It was the only spot on our journey where our baby could sleep peacefully in the room while we were able to relax elsewhere in the house. For any parents travelling with a toddler, that’s priceless. But most of all, we’ll remember the people: a wonderful evening spent chatting with Marc and another guest, Brian, who shared captivating stories of his past at sea — a moment of genuine connection, like visiting friends rather than staying in a guesthouse. This is not a polished hotel — it’s a living project, full of soul, and it deserves to be supported. We truly hope more travellers will find their way here and help this beautiful vision thrive.
