The host is most welcoming, kind and helpful. We had an early bus to catch, he made sure breakfast was ready earlier than usual just to accommodate us. And the bathroom, oh, we just loved it: cosy and elegant at the same time.

The Helm Apartments B&B can help organise golf or adventure-based activities. On-street parking is available on-street for a small daily surcharge. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.
