One of the best accommodations I’ve ever had. Mr. Kaesa was extremely helpful — he was waiting for us upon arrival and provided us with the most detailed information about Berastagi and the trek to Gunung Sibayak. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was available. As a bonus, the price was extremely low — almost ridiculously cheap considering everything that was included. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Berastagi.

Comfy beds, sweet, friendly hosts/workers who were very accommodating, the huts are very cool looking (hammocks). It’s amazing they’re really in the jungle but still nearby where you wanna be. A good price for what you get. Washrooms are nice and clean. Everyone hangs out in the main shared area (restaurant area) and plays guitar and plays cards in the evening (but not too late, quiet hours are respected). During the rainy season, you can swim in the pools of the waterfall that is literally one second away from the lodge.

The owner helped us to arrange the guide and airport taxi before arrival! When we arrived, my friend was not feeling well so the owner managed to change the duration of the trek and suggest other activities. Also, she managed to extend the stay and we kept the same room (from 1 night to 4 nights). We were pleased with nice food and hospitality like delivering food or tea to our room! Our room was upgraded to the family room which was more accessible from the river. I highly recommend this place!

The staff are friendly and very helpful. Enjoying the sunset at Bamboo Bar while having dinner is a beautiful experience. Likewise, when you sleep, you are accompanied by the sound of crashing waves which makes you sleep soundly

I think this is the first time I know I'm definitely visiting a destination again just because of the accommodation experience I've had.

Orangutan Treks Villa & Eco-Friendly Jungle Trekking Activities tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Timbanglawang. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, bar, jardín y terraza. I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer, close to restaurants está en Padang, a 13 min a pie de Playa Air Manis, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado... El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.

Jhony es una persona excelente, amable y servicial. Hicimos el trekking de 3 días y 2 noches con él y el trato por su parte, su guía y staff fue genial. Son muy respetuosos con la jungla, los animales y el medio ambiente. Te explica todo con detalle. Pudimos observar muchos orangutanes y diferentes tipos de monos y su guía nos cuidó en todo momento sintiéndonos muy seguros. Muy recomendable hacer, al menos, una noche en la selva y, si tienes tiempo, dos. La comida que nos daban era exquisita. Además, a mitad mañana te servían diferentes frutas con mucho detalle. La bajada por el río también fue muy divertida. En resumen, es una experiencia inolvidable y muy auténtica. Con él te puedes comunicar perfectamente en inglés, lástima que el guía no lo hablaba.
