The work done to upgrade the hotel is fantastic, blend of modern and traditional with some beautifully designed rooms. Loved the whisky room for cocktails and the food was amazing in Charlie’s. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

This is without a doubt a 10/10 property. The generosity and hospitality shown by the hosts is second to none. We stayed in a family cabin and it was surprisingly spacious, so clean, comfortable and equiped with everything we needed. The hot tub was of course a highlight of the trip, as was getting to pat and feed the highland cows (plus other farm animals). Thank you Sam, we would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property that you have created.

The hosts were quick to respond when needed. There is street parking out front which was quite convenient. We walked over the chain bridge into Melrose (coffee, pubs, Melrose Abbey, groceries) which was lovely. There was coffee, tea and milk at the flat which was a nice touch & the view out to the garden so beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find hair dryers with diffuser attachments! Everything was comfortable and clean, 10/10.
