I highly recommend staying at Estación Hostel. It's a quiet and clean place with private rooms in a great central location. The kitchen is spotless, and there's a cosy common room with a fireplace. The host Sandro speaks English and was very easy to communicate with. I planned to stay only two nights, but I ended up staying twelve! The island is beautiful, but what really made me stay longer were the amazing hosts. Every day, they helped me plan a new tour so I could see a different part of the island. They were so kind and made sure all my wishes were taken care of—even helping me see a pudu! Thank you so much for everything!

El lugar está bien ubicado, tiene vista excepcional, muy tranquilo, las instalaciones están completas y limpias. Pero destaco la excelente atención de Pamela, siempre atenta a atrever a los huéspedes con eficacia y calidez. Volveremos

Located right near the bus stop and close to the centre of town, this hostel is perfectly located! It’s charming and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff make the place feel like a home and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and have the best time in Chiloe.

La casa es estupenda, tiene vistas al lago, barbacoa y toda la infraestructura necesaria para una estancia cómoda y placentera. Beatriz es rápida en la comunicación y efectiva en brindar soluciones. Muy recomendada.

This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!

Tranquilidad absoluta en medio del campo. La Sra. Nelda es una gran anfitriona, siempre pendiente de que nuestra estadía fuera lo más grata posible.
