Top to bottom excellent quality in service, food, staff, rooms are beautiful and spacious and clean, pool and gardens are really spectacular and restaurant is probably the best in Arusha with unbelievable views of Mount Meru, this property is head and shoulders above the rest in Arusha and well worth the splurge to start or finish your adventure in Tanzania.

My partner and I stayed here before our safari and I can’t rate it highly enough. Lovely swimming pool, incredibly friendly owners, gorgeous dogs and we kindly had a homemade dinner made for us which was delicious. Will be back in the future :)

It was brilliant! Bungalow is cozy with a place outside to chill and have a tea. Delicious food! Cute 2 cats On the top of all this is a unbelievably nice staff. They did our stay here spotless. In advance they helped us with our safari tour so their kindness is also outside of their accommodation Thanks a lot!

Mina Chai is an exceptional budget option for travellers. We stayed for a couple of nights and were looking for a quiet place to stay, equally far away from the city centre and airport. What amazed us was the incredibly kind and helpful staff - Lucy took time out of her own schedule to travel with us to the city, show us around and organize everything we needed, including transfers. She even cooked us an amazing lunch when requested! The room was small but cozy and we felt welcome throughout the entire stay. Would definitely recommend Mina Chai for travellers looking for an intimate “guest-house” experience with attentive and generous staff!

Whether it was arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see how I was doing, the service felt genuine and caring. Everything was spotless, and little details like fresh flowers or a cozy sitting area added to the charm. Very cozy and friendly place. Innocent, Evelyn and Djamal were very nice and attentive to all of our requests. The house is very well located, with a nice garden and bungalow. The breakfast was also good and made with love. The host even organized our safari and gave us a very good briefing about it. So we had a great time and wonderful experience.
